First i had the problem that when i ran it with sudo the letters and numbers wouldnt show, and when not running sudo i got the build C Pow manually error, but now it suddenly works with Sudo(perhaps since i tried changing language?) But even now i cant get any connections.. I have opened the port 8444 in the firewall ufw. So what else can i do to find peers?

Thank you a lot! This is really important to me, i love bitmessage, it is new IRC! The new social network structure! So help me spread it, help me use it!

Thank you!

Hello there,

i am no python expert, but it seem you are missing the correct locale.

Try

$> sudo locale-gen

and verify that these Environment-Variables have been set:

LANG
LANGUAGE

Best regards, Gerhard

who is general failure and why is he reading my disk ????

Hello,
try to set a locale in

/etc/default/locale

LANG="en_US.UTF-8"
LANGUAGE="en_US:en"
